Ladies and Gents, we have a New Moon in Scorpio. At any New Moon the Sun and Moon create what is called in astrology an exact conjunction. What this means is that these two cosmic bodies purposefully share the same number of degrees and minutes, as well as being in the same zodiacal sign.
This very tight and firm conjunction provides the fertile soil required at the New Moon to plant new intentions. This is a carefully planned energy planting according to the sign that the Moon and Sun are in. This time they are in the sign of Scorpio. What could this mean?
Planet Pluto rules the zodiacal sign of Scorpio. Scorpio is a water element. Scorpio water is very deep and murky. It is also deeply suppressed, as it is a fixed and stubborn energy. It rules our perceived and real near-death experiences from conception, early childhood and beyond. This is determined by the house position of our own natal Pluto.
We all have planet Pluto in our charts and the beauty is that wherever, this precious cosmic body is where lies our treasure chest deeply hidden. Equally, through working with the sign and house placement awakens our grandest potential through a complete trust and letting go. Maybe not all will agree however, for me there is nothing more liberating than trusting in Pluto. This takes time. From this space we can allow ourselves to be guided by our Higher Power rather than using our strong will, as our driving force in our life.
With the sign of Scorpio, we are creating new ideas and planting seeds of intention with total transformation in mind. This can be exciting news for some. Sweet Scorpio is the alchemist. Also, this higher view can free ourselves from constrictive chains of reality, as we know it. It is my experience that when we connect to ‘truth’, meaning our personal truth and recognise what it is for us, it sets us free no matter what it is.
Planet Pluto in the heavens is in the sign of Capricorn and he would be doing his best to aid humanity at this time to go beyond the societal truth. Enter an evolutionary level of reality where inner strength resides that feels effortless in our letting go of our human conditioning that is beyond all fear, power abuse and control.
When we hold on too much to the dysfunctional energies of Scorpio, we are likely to develop bowel issues or constipation. Also, we could attract sexual diseases and taboos possibly based from that societal fear.
There is a firm reminder to trust self above all, as all that are on this path are and will be tested. That simply is so. This fact is not shared to burden you any further. It is rather to empower you to grow into a being that is sovereign onto self and that listens to no other individual other than themselves to access and follow deep truth. It is so worth the effort. This can transform any individual in any one precious moment. We are living in deeply transformational times. Humanity is going through a rebirth, as are we individually.
This is both symbolic and real. It is very similar to a mother giving birth to a child. The intensity of pain and concentration of breathing is usually intensified just before the birth. Then, the alchemic beauty and transformation of the child is born, into this world. I hope that these words of Scorpio and Pluto serve you well. They are written with love for all.
The individuals that have the fixed signs of Scorpio/Taurus, Leo/Aquarius in their natal charts ranging from 08 to 15 degrees will feel this New Moon in Scorpio more than others.
It can be helpful to print your charts and physically place this New Moon, then you may more easily see which house placement your own Scorpio is positioned and the area of life it directly activates for you.
