Ladies and Gents, we have a New Moon in Libra. At any New Moon the Sun and Moon sit side-by-side in what is called in astrology an exact conjunction. What this means is that these two cosmic bodies share the same number of degrees, minutes and are both in the same zodiacal sign. This time they are in the sign of Libra.
Essentially, the sign of Libra can make a wonderful mediator or counsellor, as they can see both sides of any situation with love and understanding for both.
Libra is an air element. Air energy rules the mind and it needs movement of the body, in order to keep the thoughts healthy, revive the mind and plant new fresh ideas.
Then the Libra can be decisive, tactful and diplomatic. Essentially, the sign of Libra is learning to create inner peace and harmony through accepting the see-saw of life as part of the crucial teaching to become balanced. Then the Libra can truly feel calm inside no matter what is happening.
The sign of Libra holds wonderful qualities like recognising other individuals as valuable mirrors for seeing self. As a healthy Libra knows that what one sees in another is within the self. Otherwise, Libra wouldn’t have the insight and therefore feels love and gratitude for this precious skill.

At this New Moon in Libra, we have planet Mars that rules the opposite sign of Aries in the sign of Libra also at 13 degrees of Libra. Mars, Sun and Moon are holding hands very tightly with the closest conjunction possible. What could this mean? One will have a strong drive to actually do those things that we love to do.
An unhealthy sign of Libra on the other hand, is that one can often try to please others, in order to receive love. This can be a painful process as one realises there is no thank you in return. Often the other does not wish you to do for them. Best that we learn to do for ourselves and love oneself.
The more that we can recognise and love our dysfunctional traits, the quicker we will heal them and accept them for being human characteristics. Then we can stop doing for others in order to receive love and realise that they are capable of doing for themselves. Then and only then can we begin to cultivate the peace and harmony that the healthy Libra seeks above all.
Physically, the sign of Libra rules the adrenals, kidneys and bladder. When we experience issues with these organs. It maybe helpful to examine how we feel about our primary relationship partner. Release the possible suppressed anger (Aries), which works together with the sign of Libra. Considering that anyone with a strong Libra can compromise self for the sake of their relationship to enable peace.
Libra is a cardinal sign. This energy is demonstrated in the sign of Libra that it needs to take matters in own hands and always be moving forward in a loving and assertive manner. Otherwise, the Libra becomes stagnant in life which can cause one to possibly feel unhappy. This stagnation can occur through not giving herself the pleasure of giving to others and being with others. Knowing that this external action is assisting and building self-love and creating peace within.
The individuals that have a 10 to 16 degrees in the cardinal signs of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer in their birth charts will feel this New Moon’s energy more than other individuals.
