Ladies and Gents, we have a New Moon in the sign of Leo. What this means is that the Sun and Moon are completely aligned sharing the same sign, number of degrees and minutes. This is called an exact conjunction in astrology. This time they share the sign of Leo. What could this mean?
Leo is a beautiful sign that basically rules our heart chakra and our ability to experience the feeling of love. When we fall in love, usually we cannot help but feel elated, energised, over-joyed in a manner that cannot be explained by our minds. We have dropped into our hearts. All of a sudden, we feel that everything is right with the world and we have a permanently fixed smile on our face. Life becomes easy because it’s fuelled by love. When we live life from this space everything seems effortless, we may wonder why?
The sign of Leo is a fire sign that needs to take action, in order to remain healthy. Further, fire needs to move quickly otherwise it can become stagnant and play up possibly creating drama for no reason. Its archetype is the Lion. Just imagine the image of a lion’s roar that stands proudly protecting their young from danger with love within their heart.
Any sign of danger the lion moves very quickly. The sign of Leo also rules children that are both from the animal and human kingdoms. Our children are such precious individuals that have the power to penetrate and open our hearts, as mentioned above. Further, our young are eagerly learning from their parents through copying what they do.
Why don’t you look for the sign of Leo in your birth chart, as that will show you the area of life that your soul has chosen to be your own expression of your Leo.
Leo loves to be creative. New Moon loves to set intentions. Especially, the sign of Leo. Therefore, we could ask ourselves questions such as: What did I love playing the most when I was a young child? Act on the first impulse that you receive.
We could ask: What have I been putting off due to feeling scared? Courage is not devoid of fear. We need fear, as that is bringing to our awareness what we truly love and through taking the courageous action we can fall in love with what we’re doing. This can ignite an unshakable loyalty for ourselves and we can grow in unconditional love for ourselves and others. This takes time. However, the sign of Leo has the drive to follow our intentions through to completion, due to its fire element.
Further, the sign of Leo is fixed. The fixed energies are gifting us with incredible tenacity to stick with our chosen plans. Whatever action that we love doing we will have the endurance to see it through to completion.
We are so supported at this New Moon in Leo, to access our feelings of joy within. Individuals with an open-heart chakra, emanate an energy which is often felt by others. Through the persons open hearted love of life they may often step into their leadership roles. As that love emanates far and wide giving a sense of wonder through those guidance qualities. Simply, Leo is born to be a heart connected leader. Leo absolutely loves this. Every individual has their own unique (Aquarius) leadership roles to fulfil and to serve humanity.
Essentially, the Leo is required to feel & experience all feelings of rejection. This maybe the most challenging for a Leo to feel, as through this realisation, he will need to access and feel into all of the ways that he has rejected those whom he may have loved dearly. We could ask: Who have I rejected that I love? What purpose did it serve? It takes courage to feel this. We need to be ready
We are further supported on our courageous journey towards light and love. At this New Moon in Leo, by having what is called a Lion’s Gate. This happens annually at the time of when the Sun is in the sign of Leo. To help accelerate our consciousness through an opening of our heart chakra and through making the intentions to love self-unconditionally as well as others.
What is more important in life than love? Love vibrates at the highest frequency possible and when we feel love anything and everything becomes possible.
The Sun rules the sign of Leo and is joyously cheering every individual to shine our light brightly. Find what you love doing and do it. This is not a time to remain small, as that could hurt our heart chakra. We can stand outdoors in front of the Sun in a meditation connecting and asking the Sun to help find what we love. It could only take a heartfelt desire for an opening of our heart to allow more love within.
Individuals that keep their heart closed can develop heart problems in all sorts of ways. If left unchecked, this can lead to heart attacks or heart failures. We require Lion courage to feel all of our blockages and lovingly with incredible patience for ourselves let them go one-by-one.
The individuals that have the fixed signs of Leo/Aquarius and Taurus/Scorpio in their birth charts ranging anywhere from 13 to 20 degrees will feel this New Moon in Leo more than others.
Again, the invitation is, to please print your birth charts and physically place this New Moon into the house in your chart, as then this will help you see, if it sits on any points or angles (especially the Ascendant/Descendant and Midheaven/Imum Coeli/Lower Heaven) in your birth chart and/or if it makes any significant aspects.
