New Moon 15 degrees Capricorn on 6th of January 2019 at 11:28 am (AEST)
Before I begin writing these Moon Musings, it is important for me to thank Ashtara for offering me to take over writing these articles. I appreciate it very much and I see it as a great privilege and an honour.
I have chosen to write the Moon Musings every two weeks as the New or Full Moon is approaching, as this way, it gives me time to focus on one thing at a time. Now, I would love to thank the many courageous individuals that have subscribed to these editions with me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. As you probably are aware, I have massive shoes to fill and it is not my job to attempt to fill them. I am choosing instead to always write these Moon Musings from my level of understanding and expertise. I expect to grow enormously during our time together.
Now let’s begin, I would love to wish all Capricorn Sun signs a wonderful Birthday. May your birthday be one of solid joy J may you all be productive doing things you love to do as you climb that Capricorn mountain with sure footedness, feeling grounded and patient with yourself. Happy Birthday :)
There seems to be a lot going on at this New Moon, I will cover what I see as most important. I am open to feedback. For starters, at this New Moon we have a Capricorn stellium (3 or more planets conjunct). Pluto. Sun, Moon and Saturn make a powerful combination. I would be on the look out for unconscious power plays and secrets being revealed (Pluto) as it is time for transformational healing. Interestingly, this New Moon has an exact conjunction (both are 15 degrees and 25 minutes) to the Sun.
What does this mean?
This feels like a powerful blending. It is time to use these combined energies with integrity. Using the Sun’s ego and ability to shine its light brightly combined with the Moon’s intuition and feeling nature in order to grow or create new projects and businesses.
It is like all possibilities are awake at this New Moon; therefore, it is time to write new goals and plans for the future. It is also time to recognise what feels outworn and take responsibility for it.
This New Moon stellium has sextiles (a 30 degree creative aspect) to Neptune in Pisces that make it more loving and easier to work through the Capricorn energy. These New Moon sextiles also accentuate our global connection to oneness and unity with the Divine energy. Therefore, they can help those that want to remove obscuring structures and reveal their true self.
Now back to Saturn, he can be a hard taskmaster especially if we are avoiding something to face about ourselves. This can show up as control, fear, rigidness, pessimism, demanding and feeling threatened or aloofness and unfeeling. However, when we do take responsibility he really does rejoice and takes the hard rains off. Then we are free to structure our lives and ourselves, set healthy boundaries for ourselves and manage our lives well. We can also be disciplined, hardworking (doing what we love), practical and patient. Every human being has come into this life with karmic issues (Saturn/Capricorn). Saturn wants us to succeed. Additionally, always keeping in mind that we are working with the Capricorn/Cancer polarities and bringing them into balance.
From the 2nd of January Mars moves into Aries and conjuncts Chiron in Pisces.
What does this mean on a collective level?
This conjunction in the sky indicates to me our past Chiron wounds are ready for healing considering Mars will be in its own comfort zone in the sign of Aries. It’s time to take action and heal what makes us feel small and ineffectual (Chiron). Heal the wounds that were veiled (Pisces/Neptune) over from our consciousness. It is time; the Mars energy will give us the courage to do so.
The individuals that have a 13 to 17 degrees (orb) in cardinal signs of either Capricorn, Cancer, Aries and/or Libra in their birthcharts will feel this New Moon’s energy more than other people.
I am inviting you to jot down in your birthcharts the house that this New Moon falls into and this way you can see the area of life it activates. Also, you can see if it sits on any points or angles (especially the Ascendant/Descendant and Midheaven/Imum Coeli/Lower Heaven) in your birthchart and/or if it makes any significant aspects.
It is my experience that we can miss things if we simply look at our birthcharts without physically placing the sign and the degrees of the New Moon on a printed copy of our birthcharts. I hope that this serves you.
Travel well. I do love you all.
Love
Ziva :)
