Welcome precious readers. Thank you for your subscription. I value it very much. I hope that you are well and happy.

Happy Birthday family loving Cancer. May your day be beautiful doing what you love.

Ladies and gents, we have a New Moon in the sign of Cancer. At any New Moon the Sun and Moon create an exact conjunction. What this means is that the Sun and Moon reside in the same zodiacal sign and also, share the same number of degrees and minutes. This exact togetherness occurs, in order to allow a perfect planting of the associated zodiacal sign, in that exact number of degrees and minutes. At a New Moon there is strong opportunity to plant new intentions driven by the inherent sign. This time we have the Moon and Sun in the sign of Cancer.

The Moon rules the sign of Cancer. Therefore, the Moon is very at home and comfortable in the sign of Cancer. The Cancer feels at home with the Moon, possibly as it naturally and softly feels cared for within its soft tender love.

Whereas the Sun that rules our personality is in a fire sign. This way the Sun sign in the sign of Cancer is less likely to feel safe and nurtured. It is likely to need maturing before it can feel safe and comfortable in its surroundings. Fire and water signs when they intertwine, they can create an emotional electrical storm. If this happens then the challenge could be to remain in stillness within the moment, in the eye of the storm without attempting to alter the experience in any way.

Cancer is emotional and relates fundamentally to our birth mother. How was I nurtured and cared for by my birth mother from the time of conception?

Was she happy to be pregnant with me?

Did my mother secretly hate the feeling of being pregnant leading to not accepting me as her baby? Is it possible that she desired to not to keep me but that the truth was hidden from me and from others? Did my mother blame others for her own self undoing?

Once born did I experience a sense of emotional safety and security inbuilt within me during those early months of life and years? The sign of Cancer rules the 4th house. This house’s experience spans between around 3.5 and 7 years old. We may ask ourselves: What deep hurts did I experience during this age duration?

How much did I need to hide from the outside world, in order to feel safe? Or alternatively: How much did I need the connection with others, in order to feel some sort of safety?

If we experienced motherly, fatherly and family abuse including severe neglect and harsh punishments (Capricorn). Then possibly we may need the connection of people unknown to us that we randomly meet to feel safe. We may need this human interaction with others at the shops and schools for our survival. Basically, and sadly, as the interaction with them does not hurt. The family environment may be too traumatic for the child. As the family may not know how to parent a child in a loving and kind way, so the child’s sensitivity may exaggerate to a point of overwhelm. For their survival, this child needs to not feel any emotional connection. This child is forced to cut off from their own emotional centre, as their only viable option. They forget this and then possibly later in life they may blame and punish themselves for having a distorted emotional reaction to everything within their experience. Simply, not realising that their reality and life was that horrific that they had no choice but to divorce themselves from feeling, in order to survive.

We may then choose a family partner in a very similar fashion and be totally unaware that we have stepped into a highly emotional and abusive situation. We unconsciously re-create deep emotional hurts, as that is driven by that fundamental underlay that was there our entire life. We re-create similarly, due to our need for healing.

Our family environment experience may be so hard. We may not understand why it is happening this way. We may be blamed by our family partner for being the one responsible when in fact we allow abuse and cannot even recognise that it is abuse. This abuse may be so extreme that we emotionally merge it all into one big incomprehensible blur.

In the instances of deep emotional wounding, it may serve to honour ourselves to patiently and caringly heal, in order to reach that summit of Capricorn consistent success. We need to invite the hurt and allow it with open arms. We may need to totally re-parent ourselves and this takes time. If there was not one person in our family that was emotionally safe to be around then be ready for a long road towards emotional health. We may question: Why me? this reality is too much for me to handle. Plus, it is so extreme that others will think that we are making it all up. What’s the use? We need to get to the place when we stop caring about how others view us simply, so that we can heal. Seeking professional assistance may be our choice to support us through this difficult process of healing.

Due to lacking extreme emotional support from our caregivers. In adulthood, we may develop a dependency and crave our family members to be close to us, in order to feel their nurturing and love. This is coming from our inner child wound. We may behave like deeply hurt children when we’re triggered by memories or behaviours of others towards us. This activation may scare our family members and we may energetically push away the ones that we need and love the most. All this stems from that deep emotional wound. How our family truly cared for us builds that fundamental safety net. We may not have any safety net and we may not understand why. Also, we may not understand tough love, as it becomes too much. We may become so fearful that we become needy and dependent on our family members. Needing them around to feel safe similarly as a crab shell needs the hard exterior for its protection.

This New Moon 24 degrees in Cancer is positioned opposite planet Pluto in 29 degrees of Capricorn. What could this mean? Planet Pluto could be encouraging us all to take responsibility for our deep hurt and to set boundaries, recognising that when they feel safe that they are there for everyone’s highest good. The sign of Capricorn could be invoking any individual to settle old past life karmic scores, again if our action feels good then we’re on the right track. No matter what our family feels. This could be the hardest to do to put self-first without others approval. Connecting with a new set of friends through a mind-body-spirit movement such as yoga or a martial arts or meditation may be helpful.

Planet Pluto may be needing us to let go of being over-powered or controlled. Or just being plain scared for our life. This pattern may be carried over from past lives. We may be allowing others to tarnish our reputation by telling untruths about ourselves and sadly, we may feel too scared to speak the truth due to past family conditioning. Due to the fact that we were not heard and that our hurts were made irrelevant, unimportant and totally insignificant to mention. Consequently, we may be ready to experience mini ego deaths, related to the Capricorn and Cancer theme. This could be related to being too hard on oneself-due to very harsh conditioning. That may make us very sad and emotional when we realise the depth of the abuse.

The sign of Cancer rules our breasts and our stomach. Cancer governs all those soft parts on our body including all of the white fluids. Cancer also oversees our water retention in our body. It rules our uterus and everything related to the birthing of a child.

The sign of Cancer is cardinal. Cardinal signs are the doing signs, we need to take action, in order to feel good.

Those people that have the four Cardinal signs of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries or Libra, anywhere from 21 to 27 degrees in their birth charts will be affected by this New Moon in Cancer more so than others.
