Ladies and gents, we have a New Moon in Aries. At any New Moon the Sun and Moon create what is called in astrology a conjunction. At a New Moon this closeness is exact, meaning that they both share the same amount of degrees and minutes and reside in the same zodiacal sign. This very tight togetherness signifies the ability to plant new seeds of intention represented by the zodiacal sign and the number of degrees that the New Moon resides in.
This time the Sun and Moon are the sign of Aries.
The sign of Aries is the first astrological sign and also represents the first house which describes the first 7 months of life. The Aries is the newborn infant totally reliant on its mother for their food, shelter, nurturance, love and that sense of safety. Infants have not yet developed their independence to survive. All living beings need their mothers love and care to not only survive but to thrive. The level of wounding that an unwanted and unloved child can experience from its mother could be phenomenal. Unloved infants can die.
This is related to all babies. The grown-up children can lack confidence about all aspects of life. The wounded child may be too scared to initiate action for themselves, as they may not know who they are. They may not be able to sustain that feeling of aliveness no matter how much they attempt.
At this New Moon we have planet Mercury conjunct this New Moon in Aries.
Mercury may gift us with the opportunity to think first before we act. We can then communicate assertively and calmly.
The sign of Aries can be impulsive. Therefore, it is advisable to sleep on any idea especially if we are being a bit forceful or impulsive. Mercury rules the mind and the ability to use our words well. Planet Mercury loves questions. We may ask ourselves a series of questions whilst running or engaging in fast form of exercise. Moving our body fast with the intention to transmute dense energy could be exhilarating. We usually feel alive after we break into a sweat.
The sign of Aries is ruled by planet Mars. This planet archetypally, loves going to war. This warlike behaviour could be experienced at this time. Aries rules our head and any red roar infections or boils. Also the sign of Aries rules headaches.
Aries is one of the four cardinal signs. This energy needs to consciously take a brave pill and take action to work with whatever we have been desiring, in order to feel energised and happy in our lives.
The individuals that have between 0 to 4 degrees in the cardinal signs of Aries/Libra or Capricorn/Cancer in their birth charts will feel this New Moon’s energy more than other people. Also, the individuals that have the late degree (27, 28, 29) in the previous sign of Pisces will feel this New Moon in Aries.
