Ladies and gents, we have a Full Moon in the sign of Aries. At any Full Moon the Sun and Moon create an exact opposition to each other. This opposition intensifies those inherent opposing energies of the Full Moon driven by the two contrasting signs. If we are feeling strong emotion, it may help to feel it compassionately and possibly use the contrast to learn from our experience. Being mindful that at a Super Moon these energies are strengthened and have a more lasting effect.
This time we have the Moon in the zodiacal sign of Aries and the Sun in the sign of Libra. The Sun and Moon are in opposing elements. The Sun is a fire energy and could demand self-importance, as it rules our personality. Whereas, the sign of libra is calm, peaceful and co-operating, as it loves equality and sees both sides. The Moon is tender and emotional and Aries can be too quick to act without thinking. Aries doesn’t like to wait for anything, it wants things now, instant gratification to satisfy-self similar to a child.
Also, Aries is bold, brave and likes to lovingly assert its independence. It seeks to know its own identity. The questions of Aries usually are: ‘Who am I?’ ‘What was I born to pioneer?’
Aries loves the excitement of new beginnings. It may not finish what it starts. There could be a string of new actions, as that makes the Aries feel alive. The Aries may wonder why it cannot repeat the new things that it loves to do. Possibly because at this stage it needs the thrill of creating ‘new’ each time simply, to feel alive.
The Aries can feel triggered and can attract angry outbursts from others. They may feel helpless by the received aggression, especially if they have planets in the previous sign of Pisces, which is next to their Aries in their natal chart. Also, if they have hard aspects of squares or conjunctions to their natal planets.
The sign of Libra and the sign of Aries are cardinal signs. To grow in health, they are encouraged to take their own independent action. As this helps them to build strength and confidence.
When the Sun is in a cardinal sign of Libra, it can feel indecisive therefore slow to act.
The sign of Aries could feel scared to act assertively and confidentially if it did not experience love and nurturance from their parents especially in the first six months of life. There are healthy parents that love their newborns. These are the lucky infants.
The unloved infants may lack self-direction and need to be dependent on others to initiate that action for them. If there was no balance or love in that infant’s upbringing. How could they have developed confidence and self-love as an independent person?
Suppressed or denied Aries can show up as headaches or red sore rashes or infections. A bladder infection is likely to be a combination of Libra ruling the bladder and infections ruled by the sign of Aries. A dis-owned Aries can live their life in the opposite sign of Libra. Compromising self to an extreme degree. Or possibly being a doormat to their intimate relationship partner. Thinking that the submissive action will give them the love they seek.
At times when we seek love from external sources, we may feel calm at the onset. This peace cannot be sustained over time, as it comes from the external cause. This action just shows us what we lack within. It’s never really about the other, it is always about the mirror that we see in the other person. No matter what we are experiencing. When this experience feels extreme then we need to be so gentle and patient with ourselves as we grow in strength.
The individuals that have the cardinal signs of Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn in their chart anywhere from 3 to 9 degrees, will feel this Full Super Moon in Aries more so than others.
Place 6 degrees of Aries in your natal chart, as this way you may see which house this Super Full Moon lands.
This way you can see if the Full Moon aspects any significant angles like the Descendant or Ascendant, I.C. or M.C., or any planets.
