Ladies and Gents, we have a Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio. At any Full Moon the Sun and Moon are in an exact opposition. This means that they share the same number of degrees and minutes but reside in opposing signs. There is a build up of energy prior to the Full Moon. This accumulation of energy happens to wake-up any sleeping or suppressed issues that may come to the surface, driven by the two opposing signs. This time we have the Moon in the sign of Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus. What could this mean?
Scorpio is a water element and unlike the other two water signs this energy has its waters deeply buried. Planet Pluto rules the sign of Scorpio. Essentially, Scorpio and Pluto are asking all of us to let go and transform out of the dark cocoon into the butterfly of light. For those that care to achieve this: there needs to be an allowance to let go. This consists of letting go of our old ways of doing things that no longer make us happy. We all usually know what doesn’t make us happy.
However, the cause is most likely buried within a deep protective psychology. This suppression served us well when we were children. As adults, it is time to dive into the muddy lake & allow the lotus flowers to bloom. Scorpio Full Moon has the deepest and biggest power to heal in comparison to the other signs, in a transformative way. However, Scorpio likes to hold on.
A helpful Scorpio mantra can be: ‘Thy Will Be Done not my will be done’. For anyone that desires to heal anything, needs to learn that, we the personality is not in control and we do not perform the healing. The harder we ‘try’ the more pain we usually create. A true surrender can be the best gift in the world that we can truly give ourselves. Nobody knows how to do this until they do it. The surrender needs to be genuine driven by a total willingness to let go of the personality self. Allow the whole body to be still and silent, and just Be. Then possibly ask: What am I holding onto that is Scorpio in nature that no longer serves my highest good?
Permit the feelings to rise to the surface from the core of unconsciousness. Acknowledging that it is now time to transform this consciousness into the transmutation of dark to light. Scorpio rules power plays, intensity and manipulation amongst others. There is a lovely analogy describing the Scorpio and Taurus polarity at this Full Moon. Scorpio is what is underneath the surface and Taurus is what is above and seen.
Scorpio is asking for ownership of our power. Therefore, there is an invitation to uncover how we each play our power game. Possible questions to ask self are: Do I over power others with my manipulation and power? Or do I play powerless and allow others to over-power me? How do I violate and abuse myself or others? Do I take justified revenge when I feel betrayed or violated? Scorpio questions are not easy to ask however; we all play these power games unconsciously to differing degrees and once worked through, they can be so transforming into feeling good about ourselves.
At this Full Moon in Scorpio, the Sun is in the sign of Taurus, sitting next to planet Mercury, Venus and Uranus all in the sign of Taurus. What could this mean? We have the support of Taurus stability and security to release the deep Scorpio. Astrologically, these planets are creating what is called a stellium, which means three or more planets sitting side-by-side in that conjunction. This cosmic package creates a powerful blend of power of the Taurus energy.
Just to be mindful that this blended force could heighten people’s stubbornness, insecurity, lack of self-esteem or money problems.
Alternatively, this planetary bundle could heighten prosperity consciousness, trust, reliability, consistency, self-worth, self-value, self-love and an ability to calm the physical senses (Taurus) and mind (Mercury). This package could also cultivate appreciation and love for life and everything in it (Venus). For those individuals that are experiencing a lot of chatter in the mind that is not useful, they can use this time to be still and to calm the thoughts gently and grow in self-respect. It can help to know and remember that the mind is not designed to be used as a valid healing tool. The only healing that can happen is through feeling and allowing our emotions.
Planet Uranus in Taurus can help shatter any areas of our lives where we feel secure and predictable. This would be a false sense of security through a known sense of predictability. This is what we are holding onto very tightly, fearing change and this can be blocking our higher frequencies of consciousness.
Through meditation on new plant growth, we could use nature (Taurus), as the precious healing tool that it is and transform our dense energies instantly, as soon as there is a new state of awareness (Uranus). That then leads to a change in our consciousness (Uranus). That describes planet Uranus ability to transform very quickly likened to turning the light switch on in a dark room.
This Full Moon in Scorpio is teaching ourselves to learn to trust (Taurus) Mother Earth and ourselves. Further, the beautiful Taurus can calm and balance our internal waters between the intensity of deep suppressed Scorpio emotion and the calm and still centre of Taurus.
We have the potential to transform our deepest darkest fears and secrets around this theme.
This theme will be revealed in the area of life where you have your 7 degrees of Scorpio. There has to be a willingness to go there, to give full permission to the lower self to be emersed in this space, through questioning deeply with eyes closed. You may like to call in your guides or angels to be with you. This will assist you in feeling safe enough to go there. An opportunity to feel this deeply at the Scorpio Full Moon, as these are fixed energies in their patterning. A chance to change to new sequence.
When we have suppressed Scorpio, then we can experience bowel or sexual organ problems. We may contract sexual diseases or we could feel constipated, showing us that we are holding on to experiences & memories from the past. The severity of the difficulty is likely to directly match the level of suppression. Professional, caring and ethical help is recommended at times like these.
