Ladies and Gents, we have a Full Moon in Gemini. This is the last Full Moon for the year. Any Full Moon represents a build up of energy that is looking for a release. This time it is in the sign of Gemini. This energy is ruled by the mind and for some individuals this may show-up as experiencing over-stimulation. Busy minds can diminish our ability to focus and possibly create insomnia or anxiety attacks in severe cases.
From my experience, yoga nidra works very well for insomnia. This practice relaxes each part of the body and mind.
In its basic and functional sense Gemini is very curious like a wide-eyed child that is hungry for information and learning. The mind needs stimulation through movement and a change of scenery. Illumination of bright ideas can help us create new ways of being.
Gemini is playful and enjoys keeping the conversation light, bright and inquisitive. It can easily loose focus and attention, similarly to a child, if it is not engaged or interested in what is being discussed. Gemini needs to be curious about the content of the conversation in order to keep her interest alive!
Essentially, Gemini loves words and loves communication. Please be mindful, as Gemini can become restless, easily bored and delve into mindless chatter or gossip.
Also, Gemini represents short-term plans and siblings. A functional Gemini will demonstrate love of learning, be witty, funny, interested, mindful, will have the ability to use her rational mind and use language well. The planet Mercury rules Gemini.
Going back to the build up of energies at the time of any Full Moon that is being demonstrated by the Moon and Sun in opposing signs, facing each other. This time our Gemini Moon has the Sun in its opposition of Sagittarius. What may they be communicating to each other? From my view, this Gemini/Sagittarius is concerned with balancing the left and right brain hemispheres of the brain. Gemini rules the left-brain and the intellect and Sagittarius the right brain and intuition.
Gemini rules the everyday learning and Sagittarius quests for spiritual understanding. You see these polarities always complement each other perfectly, as they show us and teach us about ways that feel good for us or not so good. We can swing from one polarity to another until balance is created. It is my experience that human beings tend to learn through experiencing these differences.
These also include yin/yang and masculine/feminine. We all have these within us no matter what gender we are and it is my understanding we will find consistent peace and harmony as well as a still mind if and when we can bring them into balance.
This Full Moon in Gemini is creating a T-Square pattern to the planet Neptune. Neptune is in the sign of Pisces and Pisces is 90 degrees away from both Gemini and Sagittarius. The 90-degree separation reveals a square that is a hard aspect and alone creates stress, tension and discord between the related energies. Within a T-Square there are two squares and one opposition.
A T-Square looks like a triangle and composes of one opposition demonstrated by the Sun and Moon while the third planet being Neptune squares them both. The planet Neptune is sitting at the point of this triangle or what is called an apex in astrology.
What could this T-Square be communicating to us? T-Squares are about moving from conflict to cooperation (Tracy Marks).
Neptune in Pisces squaring the Sun and Moon could be saying I want clarity and I want to engage in spiritual service and I want to access my own truth of where I’m heading in this life. Or it could be saying let’s meditate Gemini and still that mind. Or the Gemini may want to teach, write that book it has been putting off or present its precious information to possibly groups.
Essentially, a T-Squares can feel unbalanced, as it is looking for its fourth leg to transform the triangle shape to a square formation. Then it can feel more stable. This T-Square is looking for the sign of Virgo. It may want to create a daily practical routine that will work with the other three energies of Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces. The Virgo may be seeking order and cleanliness or it may need to offer some practical service, for balance to be achieved.
Mutable energies enjoy change. This Full Moon is a perfect time for change especially, since it is creating a mutable T-Square. You are invited to write a list of the things that you would like to change and that no longer serve you practically, philosophically, spiritually and/or no longer stimulate your mind juices or generate ease in your personal communications.
Gemini loves to ask questions and possible questions could be related and based on the themes mentioned above. I invite you to create your own questions that come to you, as they will be perfect for you personally. Please trust your intuition that is ruled by the Sagittarius energy and is opposite to Gemini.
We all have our own intuition and if you haven’t developed it yet then may be now is the time while we have this wonderful support in the sky demonstrated by the travelling planets.
Further, Gemini rules honesty therefore, we may choose to add honesty questions to our self-enquiry. We could examine and ask: How honest is our communication with ourselves and with others?
Essentially, these energies need to move beyond what currently exists otherwise illness will occur. Gemini rules the lungs, hands, arms, shoulders and the nervous system. Our body is a very smart mechanism and issues with any of the before mentioned body parts will be alerting you of your dysfunctional Gemini game.
If we allow ourselves to view our life, as a game we will move up the scale to feeling good as if by magic. I invite you to step into the lightness and youthfulness of Gemini that will feel good for you. If you are not, please be curious about your life! This will serve you well.

As mentioned above, the mutable signs are Gemini/Sagittarius, Virgo/Pisces. The people that have these signs in their birthcharts ranging from 16 to 22 degrees will feel this Full Moon more than others.
